Electrolytic cell for the recovery of the precious metal from exhausted solution. This kind of equipment is used for the recovery of precious metal coming from the the chemical brightening procedures (well known as “bombing”).
The equipment's working principle is based on the metals electro deposition through electrolysis means: applying electric current to a conductive solution composed by metallic ions, the precious metal deposits on a cathode, a brass cylindrical filter.
Adding proper conductive salts, the cell is able to recover more than 99,9% of precious metal.

Precious metals contained in the liquid resulting from different production processes can be recovered using ion exchange resin plants.
Specific ion resins have the capacity to remove specific types of metals from waste streams in the presence of other ions that would normally exhaust the resin.
